GSiMedia

The GSiMedia proprietary digital content protect mechanism offers unique functionality not found in any other kiosk system. Customers worldwide can buy and download GSiMedia digital content anywhere, anytime. Simply insert a GSiSD card into the GSiKiosk and then follow on-screen directions to purchase and download digital content. GSiKiosk is equipped with a touch-panel LCD display, printer, internal hard drive, and card reader compatible with GSiSD™ memory cards.

Wireless networking capability allows the GSiKiosks™ to be almost anywhere. GSiKiosk™ for mobile units is an ideal solution for street fairs, fund raisers, parties, and special events, where providers can distribute content on the spot. Consumers can use all standard earphones and speaker systems for a customized experience.

GSiKiosk™ can be installed in music outlets, book stores, cafés, airports, public transportation stations, and other public shopping centers, as well as in hotel lobbies and ticketing centers. Consumers will be able to purchase and download digital content at promotional GSiKiosks™ set to be installed at selected CVS stores in Taiwan, 7-11 stores in Japan, and D-Phone outlets in Mainland China.

The secure agent software in GSiMedia players reads the destination Portable Stroage Identification (PSID) key of the object packaged into one of our GSi file formats, .gau, .gvi, .gka, .geb. The PSID is sent to the GSiSD™ for file identification, in which the GSiSD™ will compare the destination PSID with the PSID stored on the GSiSD™ memory card.

The secure agent software in GSiMedia players reads the encrypted pem file, or P12 file, from a hidden area in the GSiSD™ memory card, and then diversifies the decryption key through PCS-12 software embedded into the secure agent in our media players.

All data captured from SD card reader is encrypted, and the encryption and decryption mechanisms are built into both the GSiSD™ memory card and secure agent software embedded into various players.
