Security, Quality, and True PortabilityLeading our product line is the GSiSD™ Memory Card, which houses a memory card controller chip embedded with our patent-pending portable storage identification (PSID) secure agent technology. GSiSD™ cards preserve all the functionality of original SD cards with the added capability to lock encrypted files using the card’s unique PSID, rendering any file transferred or copied to another storage medium completely inaccessible.
Unlike competing digital rights management (DRM) solutions, our platform uses unbreakable hardware encryption rather than less-secure software solutions that are easliy stripped away. With our range of Java®-based software players, end users have the freedom of viewing authorized content on all popular computing platforms and mobile devices for guaranteed security, quality, and true portability.
EncryptionInformatin passed through the SD card I/O is encrypted using a 1024 public and private key infrastructure
Secure Agent TechnologyGSiMedia Secury Agent technology works in accorance with OMAv2.0, DCF Parser, XML Parser, XML Security, and PKI Cryptography to ensure 100% security. After sucessful PSID verification, music and video files are decrypted using PKCS-12 or PKCS-11 security types.
Customer IdentificationThe secure agent software in GSiMedia players reads the destination Portable Stroage Identification (PSID) key of the object packaged into one of our GSi file formats, .gau, .gvi, .gka, .geb. The PSID is sent to the GSiSD™ for file identification, in which the GSiSD™ will compare the destination PSID with the PSID stored on the GSiSD™ memory card.
Hidden Area ProtectionThe secure agent software in GSiMedia players reads the encrypted pem file, or P12 file, from a hidden area in the GSiSD™ memory card, and then diversifies the decryption key through PCS-12 software embedded into the secure agent in our media players.
Data EncryptionAll data captured from SD card reader is encrypted, and the encryption and decryption mechanisms are built into both the GSiSD™ memory card and secure agent software embedded into various players.
CompatibilityWindows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 (RC), Windows Mobile 5.0 and newer, Windows CE, all flavors of Linux, Symbian S60, and many other Java® based platforms.<br />Minimum processor speeds vary by device and are subject to change during the final phase of development.
DevelopmentLead developers are Tony Chang and Rex Chiang. Our GSiSD™ is now in release candidate status and is scheduled to be stable in Q3 2009.
